My art focuses on different moods and takes on icons and symbols, exploring faces and facets of contemporary pop culture, modern society and beyond.
— Bubins

Artworks.

The Blue Series.

This is my very first series that focuses on a colourful take on real and fictional personas and their key identity features, characterized by my signature “white eyes” and enriched with cobalt blue dotted patterned background.

The Black Series.

Inspired by real life artists, celebrities and international personalities. This monochrome series projects a boldness and secretive tone through the merge of background, shadows and main subject into a seamless dark portrait.

The Fries Series.

City skylines from around the world, interpreted through the (in)famous fries of the well-known fast food chain. This series celebrates the harmonious coming together of urban environment and modern society.

Stencils.

A selection of refined colorful stencils based on controversial concepts and paradoxes of today’s society. Created using spray paint, varnish, canvas, recycled and eco-friendly materials, fully seasoned with typical Bubins irony and cynicism. Enjoy!

Street Sculptures.

What can be even better than a Bubins artwork? Well… a 3D artwork, or, in other words, something which I like to refer to as literal “street sculptures”. Recycled stuff taken straight from the street and remodeled in pure ironic Bubins style. Have a look!
